Reconnecting….

The 2022 exhibition of BA thesis projects from students in the Design and Fine Arts programs in the Department of Art + Architecture at the University of San Francisco.

This thesis exhibition collectively reflected the students education at USF along with their experiences reconnecting in a pivotal time of change.

The exhibition took place at SOMArts Cultural Center in San Francisco from May 19-21, 2022.

The USF Art & Architecture class of 2022 included 30 Design students  who each created a multi media design project in the capstone course, Senior Design Projects.

Senior Design Projects guides students in creating a final thesis project that synthesizes what they have learned throughout their tenure in the Design Program at USF. Through ideation, research, writing, production and presentation, students create works that present design within specific critical, historical, social, political, cultural, and/or conceptual contexts.

Throughout the semester students were challenged to understand and communicate how their chosen research relates to specific audiences and cultural practices.

Exhibition organized by Professor Carrie Hott with additional support by Professor Sergio de la Torre, Luca Ameri, and Steve Rhyne
