I use graphic branding and\nidentity, UX\/UI systems, motion graphics, and dynamic typography to investigate and produce\nfor the world around me. At the center of my practice is the belief that, as a designer, it is my\nduty to produce work and ideas that are preparing for a sustainable future. I believe that design\nis not purely visual and in fact serves solely as the structure of a product, experience, or\ninteraction. I strive to create work that is both immersive and intuitive, where aesthetics serve a\npurposeful, lasting role as a catalyst for change.\n<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"btl-project\">\n      <h1 class=\"btl-project-title\">Desire Manufactured<\/h1>\n      <p class=\"btl-project-statement\">Desire Manufactured explores how branding and advertising shape consumer behavior\nby influencing what we like and how often we buy. Across industries products are designed\nusing the same core strategies: color, language, placement, and emotional appeal. These\nstrategies aim to capture attention and reduce the time it takes to make a decision. What feels\nlike a personal purchasing choice is often guided by carefully constructed patterns that prioritize familiarity and ease.<br><br>\n\nBy presenting these products in a controlled retail display, this installation highlights how\nrepeated exposure to these strategies leads to habitual consumption and mindless purchasing\ntendencies. Individually these purchases may seem insignificant but over time they contribute to a broader system of overconsumption and ultimately environmental degradation.
