With a focus on graphic design and brand development, Lucia\nuses her work to convey messages and express thoughts creatively. Throughout her time at\nUSF, she has built a strong foundation in design fundamentals &#8211; using bold type, contrasting\ncolors, and experimental layouts across all her projects. Lucia has a passion for visual design,\nposters and publications, creative advertising, and anything that allows her to express a deeper\nmeaning in a visual way. Post-grad, Lucia hopes to find a career in creativity that allows her to\ncontinue expressing herself and others through the world of graphic design.<\/p>\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n    <div class=\"btl-project\">\n      <h1 class=\"btl-project-title\">Adulting: a Visual Exploration of the Chaos of Your 20s<\/h1>\n      <p class=\"btl-project-statement\">Adulting: a Visual Exploration of the Chaos of Your 20\u2019s is my magazine centered around the transition to adulthood that everyone inevitably goes through. Based on the question \u201chow do young adults handle the emotional intensity of transitioning into adulthood\u201d, this zine aims to visually express the chaos and intensity that consumes you at this phase in life.\n<br>\n<br>\nThough rooted in imagery, my project compiles academic interviews, anonymous surveys,\nresearch projects, and real life experience to convey my overall message &#8211; growing up is hard.\nMaking this magazine while actively living through this phase in life allowed me to bring in my\nown personal anecdotes and experience. Becoming an adult is complicated &#8211; new responsibilities, feelings you\u2019ve never experienced before, the constant pull between being independent and figuring out your own path but not wanting to accept that your youth is over. The emotional experience of getting older is overwhelming, especially when facing such intense highs and lows in such a condensed amount of time.
