Ella Mitbo
ellamitbo.comI am a Graphic Design student at the University of San Francisco who is passionate about expression through editorial design, vintage prints, and anything that blends visual storytelling with a strong sense of style. I take my inspiration from fashion: magazines, look books, branding as places where design and fashion overlap. My work combines editorial aesthetics with concept-driven research, using branding and styling as tools for critique and communication.
Her Halo
Her Halo is a styling lookbook that explores how women’s environments and lived experiences shape their sense of self, and how that is reflected through expression. I photographed some of my dear friends whose personal style I admire. I had the opportunity to step into their worlds and closets. By working with their clothing, I styled outfits that felt authentic to them while also exploring new territory: dress-up has always been a space of possibility. Each look is collaborative in its own way, shaped by both of us.
Grounded in personal atmospheres, this lookbook embraces individuality through play while highlighting interests to emphasize the ways in which our environments impact us. It is a reflection of true girlhood, showing how fashion fosters connection by bringing people together through a shared love of style.
