Major: Psychology and Design<\/p>

I\u2019m a multimedia artist and designer who is based in San Francisco. With a<\/span> b<\/span>ackground in high acuity mental health intervention and prevention, the<\/span> throughline in my artistic work explores creative mediums through which<\/span> community can be nurtured. My work bridges the digital and physical realms,<\/span> exploring their intersections and the unique possibilities that emerge when they<\/span> converge. With a newfound interest in textiles, finding an interconnection between<\/span> material, culture, and typography is where my eye has thrived as of late,<\/span> p<\/span>articularly as I find myself more drawn to a career in art direction.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Zweisamkeit “tz-vay-zam-kight”
<\/strong><\/h3>\n

(“intimate togetherness” or “harmonious closeness between two people,”)<\/em><\/h4>\n

A beautiful genuinity has the capacity to exist when people find themselves<\/span> in the intimate togetherness that is friendship. <\/span>Zweisamkeit <\/span><\/i>strives to both honor<\/span> and nurture that vulnerable but albeit sacred notion. As people step into the<\/span> sculpture, the intent is for a child-like wonder to manifest. The intersection of the<\/span> tender and gentle nature of the textiles aimed to further catalyze the concept. The<\/span> hand bound book, which compliments the photos woven into the physical space,<\/span> p<\/span>rovides both a playfulness that can foster from connection while also making<\/span> space for the exposed and sensitive nature of interpersonal relationships.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
