I am an artist and designer who grew up in the East Bay. I aim to represent different facets of my life throughout my work. I think it’s important to create something that can be representative of myself while also holding room for interpretations from others. I hold great significance in the process of creating art and firmly believe that oftentimes the journey of creating can be equal to or even outweigh the final product. As someone who has been creating my whole life, even to the point of scribbling on floors as a baby, I think I’m only able to interpret the world through an artistic lens and that is a skill that I am very grateful for. Art can be found anywhere and in anything and I hope that my work will reflect that.
Nous Masseter
Nous Masseter is a metaphorical ARG (Alternate Reality Game; an interactive narrative that uses the real world as a platform) that ties fictional situations and consequences with the recent trends of Artificial Intelligence. These trends include cases of generating homework answers, manipulating images and video, and the harm of real world environments. Through puzzle solving and connecting a series of events, readers will piece together the story of an alternate world. In this world, individuals harness manifestation to change the universe to their advantage, with some not caring about the consequences that await them. Nous Masseter uses audience participation to point others in the right direction, accumulating in a shared effort to uncover and interpret the story, similar to a traditional ARG experience.
