Have you ever reminisced about a childhood memory you long to relive? Was there a special occasion where loved ones gathered just for you? Perhaps a birthday?

As the years pass and we grow older, birthdays often become just another day of the week. But not in childhood. It is the excitement of unwrapping presents, the laughter of loved ones, and the bright candle flickering atop your sweet cake! Birthdays, like milestones marking the passage of time, hold a special place in our hearts, evoking a sense of belonging and celebration.

For my project, I embarked on a journey of rediscovery with a focus on branding and packaging. Rather than simply branding any bakery, I aimed to create portals to cherished memories. Just as a candle’s wax slowly yields to the heat, memories too fade with time. It’s more than just flour, sugar, and icing; it’s a symbol of love, tradition, and the sweet anticipation of another year’s journey. 

With the creation of Candle’s Bakery, and the branding and packaging for the project, I seek to unwrap the layers of my memory and preserve the essence of cherished moments. Here, every slice of cake tells a story, and every memory is a candle lit anew.
