The media has a significant influence on our lives, changing our attitudes, beliefs, and habits. It has the ability to impact how we think about and experience the world around us, and it has the potential to cause enormous social and cultural change. The media has the power to link people across boundaries and encourage empathy and understanding, but it also has the power to perpetuate prejudices and fuel division. Children’s morals and values can be influenced significantly by cartoon shows and movies.
Characters and tales kids are exposed to may teach them crucial life skills and serve as models of good behavior. It emphasizes compassion, honesty, and empathy, for example, can help youngsters develop excellent character characteristics. Cartoons that promote violence or depict negative stereotypes, on the other hand, might perpetuate damaging beliefs and attitudes in youngsters. As a result, it is critical to properly manage children’s media intake in order to encourage healthy values and habits.
I want to showcase this kind of effect on kids by creating a multimedia project with the use of nostalgic factors. I picked five kids movies based on the early 2000s and how it impacted my view on the world. I want to showcase the Lego characters of those shows. Legos have been a big part of my childhood. During my childhood, Legos were my favorite toy to play while watching television. I want to mix these two mediums to showcase my thesis.
